The hospice is run by a woman named Hye-Jin. Gyeo-Rye starts to develop feelings for her, but she seems to be focused on her work. One day, Gyeo-Rye has a dream in which he is able to ask Hye-Jin out on a date. When he wakes up, he decides to take action and asks her out on a real date. They have a great time and eventually fall in love. However, their happiness is short-lived as they soon find out that Hye-Jin has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and there is not much time left for her. Gyeo Rye must now decide whether or not to tell her the truth about his past or keep it hidden from her until she dies. If You Wish Upon Me tells the story of Yoon Gyeo Rye, who after spending time in juvenile detention and prison finds himself volunteering at an hospice after an incident in his life. He falls for the hospice’s administrator Hye Jin but learns she has terminal cancer and little time left. We learned a lot about her and her family in this episode, and it was great to see more of them in the future. In this week’s episode, we see Astrid’s journey continue as she tries to find a way to save her loved ones from an even worse situation. What do you hope to see as the series progresses? I hope that the series progresses in ways that show us more of Astrid and her family. I especially love seeing how she deals with the stress of this situation and how she tries to find a way out. My favorite moment so far has been when Astrid uses her magic to break free from the building and save her loved ones. I can’t wait for more episodes like this one!
