Has Our Beloved Summer been renewed for season 2?
SBS has not renewed Our Beloved Summer for season 2. Given the respectable ratings over the weeks, it will be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up. ..
The ratings for “Descendants of the Sun” began with a respectable 3.2% nationwide and has been growing steadily, increasing to highs of 5.2% during episode 12. Given this is an early-week drama, that’s pretty good. ..
Based on this, we predict that Our Beloved Summer may not be renewed. This is because most k-dramas typically wrap up their stories in a single season, and we believe that this will be the case with Our Beloved Summer.

The Korean dramas that are aired on television usually only last for one season. The exception is the Netflix shows, which usually have multiple seasons. It seems unlikely that this one will be renewed.
