What is Love, Death + Robots Season 3 about?
The anthology is made up of shorts, each lasting anywhere from one to three minutes. They’re all about love, death and robots – but they can also be about anything that comes up in the course of these three concepts. Whether it’s a character’s thoughts on the matter, a conversation between two robots or just a moment of pure happiness, these shorts explore all manner of things related to love, death and robots.
In volume 3 of our series on strange and curious stories, we explore a rat apocalypse that works as an allegory for modern warfare. We also take a trip on an alien moon, and find out what happens when you mix LSD with rats.
In the third season of “The X-Files,” we see an alien swarm in its nest. This is a definite step up in quality and storytelling.

Netflix has renewed Love, Death + Robots for a fourth season, which is likely because the show is so popular and there are seemingly endless possibilities for more. This renewal could be seen as a sign that the show is well-loved by Netflix and that they see potential in it.

What we know about season 4 so far:
Netflix have only just announced a sequel to season 4, which would seem to mean that there will be around 10 episodes. Each episode will be around 5-20 minutes long, with some returning Directors and more thought provoking ideas likely to bleed through. It’s unclear what the season 4 story will be, but it’s likely to be exciting and full of surprises.
We could see more sequels like the Three Robots follow-up. It’s likely we’ll get a lot more variety with the animation too, and a few stand-out shorts. Given the open-ended nature of this anthology, there’s lots to whet the appetite.
