What is Echoes about?
The show is set in the fictional town of Echo, and revolves around the murder of a young woman. The murderer seems to have a pattern, and the detectives are determined to find out who is behind the killings.
Leni and Gina are identical twins, but they’ve swapped lives since they were children. When Gina goes missing, Leni heads back home to investigate. In doing so, the meticulously crafted world she and her sister have created turn upside down as secrets are revealed and destroy everything they’ve built.
Echoes is a new show on the CW that follows the lives of people who have been affected by the events of September 11th. The show is set to air its first episode on Wednesday, October 9th at 10pm. Netflix has not green-lit a sequel for season 2 of “Barely anything is known about season 2 at this point, given Netflix have not green-lit a sequel.” The conclusion does open up for a follow-up though, despite this being listed as a limited series.
If this one is renewed, we could well see Floss intensify her investigation, diving into the past and looking deeper at the history of the twins and what’s driving them to this point.
