Will there be a I Came By 2?
Netflix released a new movie called I Came By on August 15th, 2017. The movie was met with mixed reviews but it did well on Netflix. It is not known if there will be a sequel to I Came By.
The ending of the movie is pretty conclusive, although we have seen sequels greenlit in the past. Hugh Bonneville’s character is a massive part of this universe though and he has a pretty packed schedule, with the prolific actor at various stages for 4 separate movie projects.
I Came By has been met with overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics, with audiences tending to be a little more critical, but still leaning in favor of liking this one. A follow-up movie would certainly please fans looking for more of the same. ..

When could the next I Came By movie be released?
Netflix has not yet decided whether or not they will renew the show, but it’s fair to say that story, production and filming would need to be commenced and booked in before we even look at a specific time for a sequel. Not only that, but the cast would need to find time in their busy schedules to take on this project too. As detailed above, that may be easier said than done.
With all that in mind, we could well be looking at summer 2023 at the very earliest if this is greenlit a sequel.
Who will be in I Came By 2?
If a time jump is made, it would be really different without Hugh Bonneville reprising his role as the menacing Hector Blake. However, if we are given a time jump (as predicted above) then we could see a new cast step forward.

What could I Came By 2 be about?
It is difficult to say at this point as a sequel has not been greenlit. However, there is definitely potential for this story to continue. The way we end things, it’s a little subjective as to whether Jay is going to take up the mantle of Toby’s crown as the graffiti artist or if that final act in Hector’s lounge was a goodbye present.
The blood spatters on the floor of the house could belong to either Hector or Jay, but it is more likely that they are both present. A sequel could see Jay on the run with Naz trying to escape from Detective Ella, who wants to bring him in for questioning. ..
Another possible plot could see time pass and Hector get early release from prison. He then goes on a rampage to try and find Jay, potentially with kidnapping Naz and their child to bring Jay out for a showdown.
This is all just speculation as, until a sequel is officially announced, we cannot say for sure what the next movie’s plotline could be.
