In the second episode of Season 3, “The Return,” we follow the aftermath of a virus that has swept through the city. The virus has caused mass panic and destruction, and as people try to figure out what to do, they are left with few options. One of the characters who is struggling with this situation is Mayor Proctor. He has been in office for years, but he’s not sure how to handle the situation. He’s tried to keep things calm and organized, but it’s not easy when everything is going wrong. Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Dr. Kapp is trying to figure out how to treat the virus. She’s been working on a vaccine for years, but she’s not sure if it will work or if it will even be effective. She’s also worried about what will happen if the virus spreads too quickly.
The series is continuing to explore the lives of its characters and the relationships they form. In this episode, we follow the story of a young girl named See as she deals with her family’s move to a new house. We see her try to fit in and make new friends, as well as deal with the challenges of growing up in a new place. Our favorite moment from this episode was when See’s mother started cooking for the family and See got to try some of her mom’s recipes. It was such an interesting experience for her to be able to cook for someone else and learn something new. We also liked howSee’s father came into the room and saw his daughter cooking and asked her what she was doing. This showed that he still cared about his daughter even after moving away from home.
