What happened in Episode 8?
Chan-Young finally reveals the truth to her parents about her condition. As she starts to come to terms with what’s happening, Mi-Jo decides to visit her biological mum, who she learns is alive and currently in prison.

In Episode 8 of “Thirty-Nine,” the team investigates a murder that took place on a college campus. While they are able to identify the victim, they are also left with questions about why the killer targeted them specifically. In the end, they are able to solve the crime and come up with a new suspect.
As the series progresses, we hope to see more development on the characters and their arcs. Our favorite moment so far has been when Holden and crew were stranded on a remote island and he had to use his ingenuity to build a shelter from driftwood.
