What is Snowdrop about?
Disney+ is a new streaming service that offers a variety of content from Disney movies and TV shows to original programming. One of the channels on Disney+ is called “K-drama” which is a genre of Korean dramas. Some people are upset because the show, Snowdrop, is exclusive to Disney+ and has been rewritten multiple times.
The story follows a young woman, Seung-hee, as she is forced to flee her home and live in a refugee camp in China. She is able to find work and make a life for herself, but she is constantly worried about her family back home.
When Soo-Ho is hidden in Hosu Women’s University by Eun Yeong-Ro, a forbidden romance between the two blossoms, with complications occurring when shocking details about Soo-Ho are revealed.

Has Snowdrop been renewed for season 2?
The drama “Snowdrop” has been receiving mixed reviews in Korea, with some people enjoying it and others feeling that it is not worth watching. Given the way this drama has been received, it seems unlikely that it will be renewed for a second season. However, stranger things have happened!
The ratings for “The Good Place” have been steadily declining since its first episode. The show has a 1.6% nationwide rating and a 3% rating over the past week. The highest rating for “The Good Place” was episode 7, which increased to highs of 3.2%. Given this is a weekend drama with stiff competition, that’s pretty low.
Based on this, coupled with how quickly JTBC has been dropping multiple episodes across the week, it seems very likely that Snowdrop will not be renewed. ..
