Episode Guide
Episode 1 is a bit of a letdown. Episode 2 is much better, but Episode 3 is still not great. Episode 4 is decent, but not great. Episode 5 is really good, but it’s not the best episode.
The story of Savage Rhythm is one of hard work, determination and a never-ending drive to succeed. The band was formed in the early 2000s by two brothers, John and Damien, after they left their previous band. They were determined to make a name for themselves and started working extremely hard to improve their skills. They would practice for hours on end, even on weekends, in order to make the best music possible. Their dedication paid off and they soon became known as one of the most successful unsigned bands in Canada.
The show’s premise is interesting but it feels like it’s been done before. The characters are one-dimensional and the story is too convoluted for its own good. The show could use a few more episodes to flesh out its ideas and make them more interesting, but ultimately it falls short.
Antonia’s journey to becoming a famous dancer is full of obstacles and competition. She must overcome the skepticism of her new dance choreographer, Jacob, her mother, and even herself. Along the way, she must learn to trust her instincts and follow her heart. This story is about a young woman who wants to achieve something great and find success in life.
Antonia, a recent college graduate, is looking for a job. She applies to several factories, but is rejected by the creepy boss of one of them, Mr Tono. Karina, who has been working in the factory for years under Mr Tono’s abusive supervision, tells Antonia about her dance group Pure Street. Antonia decides to audition for the group and gets accepted. ..
Antonia is sidelined from dancing due to an injury, so she turns to Karina for help. Karina is a natural friend to Antonia, but the two girls soon start to compete with each other. This rivalry quickly becomes bitter and destructive. ..
In the first episode, Mateo and Antonia share a passionate kiss that quickly turns into a fight. Checho intervenes and starts to beat up Mateo. Antonia tries to stop him, but he pushes her away and they continue to fight. In the end, Mateo is victorious and Antonia is left in tears.
Karina and Checho have a complicated relationship because they are both related to each other. When they start their feud, it becomes more complicated because Ximena is also in the mix.
The show’s basic premise is good but its execution is poor. The story has a strong beginning but quickly falls apart. There are several antagonists who are introduced without much development and the climax feels rushed and unfinished.
Despite the promising start, “The Crown” falls flat in the end with a story that is unresolved and lacks a satisfying conclusion. While there are some resolutions for the conflicts between Antonia and Karina, the plot as a whole leaves much to be desired. A second season is uncertain at this point, leaving fans disappointed. ..
Dancing in “The Favourite” is often praised for its good numbers, but there are also scenes that feel awkward and clumsy. The director seems to know this too, as scenes constantly cut to close-ups or different angles when characters aren’t quite in sync. ..

Savage Rhythm is a show that loses the beat long before it even reaches its 8 episodes. This makes for a pretty disappointing experience overall.
