That evening, Jordan heads over to see Sarah. He sits down to talk with her, handing over a necklace that used to belong to his grandmother. “I love you Sarah,” He eventually says, admitting that one kiss won’t change the way he feels about her.
Candice and Jonathan have a chat about selling drugs. Jonathan wants Candice to sell some drugs to him so he can get a competitive edge.
As the episode ends, Lois awaits meeting Lucy. However, she doesn’t show up. Instead, it’s Ally who appears in the diner. Just before they talk, we cut across to the doppelganger Superman one more time. As the final credits scroll across the screen, the logo for Superman and Lois is reversed, in a neat little touch.
The Episode Review
This week’s episode of Supergirl features a strong story but also confirms that the thing from in the mines isn’t Doomsday after all. It’s a bit of a shame if I’m honest, as the doppelganger Superman story has been done before, but this does look like a new variation and something we haven’t seen before so it’ll be interesting to see where the show goes with that.
Despite the good drama, the season continues to deliver decent angst between both Jordan and Jonathan. With the latter seemingly about to take performance enhancing drugs and Jordan back with Sarah again, the real threat here turns toward the doppelganger Superman which could prove to be a much more challenging threat for Clark to face. ..
