Knick-Knacks and Doodads

Sam’s next door neighbour, a man named Tom, is doing some woodwork in her yard and Sam tells him to keep it down.

The thing is, Sam is still in her underwear. Her mother’s underwear, to be precise.

After this awkward run-in, we learn more about her neighbour later in the episode. His name is Drew, and they’ve been neighbours for over a year but Sam has always been wrapped up in her own world and never bothered to say hi until this morning.

In the latest episode of “The Office”, Drew and Holly share a funny moment that seems to have worked well for them. However, their friendship is quickly deteriorating as Holly starts to feel left out. It’s clear that they have a strong connection, but their friendship is in danger of breaking down.

Meanwhile, Sam continues to get along with her new friends, Fred, Michael and Joel. Fred is her guardian angel of sorts, helping Sam through a rough patch at work and convincing her to embrace the singing she used to love so.

The main point of this article is that Sam’s family is a constant black cloud in her life. This includes Tricia, who asks for help at the store. There are still tensions between them, especially after their fight last episode.

Tricia and her friend, Jane, talk about their new friend, Sam. Jane is not happy about the way things are going between Sam and Joel. Tricia is not happy either, but she does not want to get in the middle of things. They all agree that it is time for Sam to move on and find someone new.

Tricia points out that she’s 40 and that life is happening all around her, prompting Sam to leave and head over to Joel’s instead. Sam is depressed and since Holly’s death she doesn’t see much value in her life. After a bit of a falling out between the pair, Sam eventually explains herself to Joel. ..

Sam likes singing, but she hates performing. In the past, Holly gave her some money so she could record some songs, knowing it would make Sam happy. Sam used to record these songs, but refused to let Holly listen to them. Now that her sister has passed, Sam regrets not letting Holly hear them. ..

Sam’s always had confidence issues and she admits to Joel that she doesn’t think she’s good enough, seeing no value in her current life. She tells him that she wants to leave her job and start a new one, but Joel won’t let her go. He tells her that he loves her and will always support her, but she can’t leave without his blessing.

Joel and Sam have a touching chat after their workout, in which Joel convinces her to do Zumba with him. As they dance, it seems like Sam is slowly starting to come around.

The Episode Review

The show is not funny. ..

The show is good, but the storyline is relatable. Sam returns to her hometown after doing little with her life and realizing she’s drifting and aimless. This show nails the feeling of a wider cultural issue. ..

The show has some good moments, but it’s also plagued by cliches and jokes that don’t work. However, the show is starting to develop into a decent drama if you can ignore the show’s marketing campaign as a comedy. ..
