Nicole decides to make her final hours the best she can. Nicole is on the mend, at least a little anyway, and sets to work putting her affairs in order. She wants to make sure everything is in place for Dion to thrive if she does pass away.

“Simone has been very supportive of me and Janelle since we first met. She’s more than happy to help out if I pass away, and she’s been great at communicating with Janelle about what to expect.”

Simone decides to take Janelle back to Chicago. She wants to run away, believing they’re not safe anymore. With Nicole passing away and BIONA in disarray, Janelle is shocked that Simone is running away. Janelle kicks off though and eventually explodes the glass in the car and runs.

Nicole gives an emotional video, talking about how great it’s been being Dion’s mum. With tears streaming down her face, she struggles to get all the words out. ..

David meets with the Board of Directors at BIONA to discuss cellular exchange and how he plans to give super powers to those who aren’t Powered. He brings up the idea of custom-made superheroes, and in order to do that, he needs funding for his own team.

The all of them reject the offer vehemently, bringing up the dangers this poses and also what’s happened to Pat. As they walk out, David slams his fist on the table in frustration.

Dion is struggling backstage at the show. He has pain in his ears and is calling out as if he’s being controlled. Kat though receives a call about Pat and she’s forced to abandon Dion for the time being.

Nicole heads backstage to catch up with her son Brayden, who happens to be outside on the football field. The final fight is upon us.

The Episode Review

The Raising Dion subplot has been a bit of a mystery to viewers. Why hasn’t Dion shown any interest in returning home? Is he still mad at Nicole for leaving him? Or is he just too busy with his music career? We don’t know and that’s why the episode didn’t quite work for us.

The show’s focus on romance overshadowed some of the other storylines this week. Esperanza’s singing has yet to produce any results, while Brayden was noticeably absent from the episode. This allowed for some uncomfortable scenes between Janelle and Fernando, as well as between Nicole and Tevin. ..

The show’s inconsistency makes it difficult to really enjoy it, which makes it less of a great experience overall.

The final fight is upon us now and the fate of the world is left hanging in the balance. Who will come out on top? ..
