Danner

Danner is on the verge of losing her badge. She’s not even supposed to be on this case, and with the captain arriving imminently, Yasper and Aniq continue to listen in to their conversation. Zoe arrives and joins them too, with Yasper handing over his earpiece to Zoe.

Danner is the only woman in the police academy and she’s not happy about it. She’s determined to make a name for herself and prove that she’s better than the other officers. But things start to go wrong when she starts working with Germain, the alpha male of the unit. He’s always been there for her and they start to develop a close relationship. But then Danner finds out that he’s been cheating on her with another officer…

Danner had always been interested in crime and wanted to make a difference in the community. After passing the police academy, he set out to do just that. A homicide report saw Danner excited and deciding to try and solve the crime.

When she arrives, Danner believes it’s not a simple domestic homicide but Tricia’s report, coupled with Danner’s investigative report, manages to show off the footage (the same footage that’s online and distributed everywhere) and shows Germain, who’s in charge of the case.

Willow refuses to let this go though and decides to go rogue, heading out beyond her jurisdiction to Echo Park where she finds the green-haired woman and her partner. Her name is Willow, and she’s taken in for questioning.

The neighbour who reported the package theft says that the woman who was caught on camera stealing it wasn’t in Studio City at the time. Danner is encouraged to head in and support the interview. ..

It seems that there are two different women with green hair wearing hoodies, and Willow appears to have a pretty solid alibi despite being the number 1 suspect. Specifically, that comes from photos on social media confirming her whereabouts at an art exhibit. ..

Willow’s attorney, after seeing the video and being convinced by Danner that Vaughn is the one who killed his wife, speaks to Danner. In the interview, they discuss a video of Vaughn that Danner believes is evidence that he killed his wife. They also agree that it’s likely Vaughn did it on purpose.

In a case that has been making the headlines, Danner is given the opportunity to move up in her career after she helps out Willow, a new employee. However, Willow is not content with this and decides to take advantage of Danner’s lack of power. This leads to a misunderstanding that ends with the arrest of the wrong person.

After completing her investigation into the death of her predecessor, Danner confirms that she only moved to town so she could start fresh. She sees this case as an opportunity to put everything behind her and move on. ..

Captain Germain and his team are en route to interview Zoe’s daughter, Danner. Suddenly, they realize that she knows who killed Xavier. There is one person they haven’t interviewed yet- Zoe’s daughter.

The Episode Review

This episode feels like it was added just to pad out the runtime and make it more exciting. It doesn’t add anything to the story or make it more interesting.

In a report on the police force’s gender inequality, we are given some backstory and an understanding of the gender inequality in the police force. However, we are not given any information about how Danner transferred or why, along with how Danner ended up fronting this case, or at least worming her way into doing that.

This week’s episode was largely uneventful, with little to no progress made in the investigation of the murder. This has been a trend throughout the season, and it’s beginning to wear on viewers. Will the finale finally provide some answers, or will it be another disappointing installment? We’ll have to wait and see. ..
