After interviewing Brett, Culp confronts Danner. As fate would have it, she doesn’t have clearance to lead this case. She’s only supposed to take witness statements. Well, with the Captain closing in, Danner urges Culp to help her out and eventually he does succumb and agree to play his part.

Aniq and Yasper are both worried about the handwriting on the revenge note. They think it might be the same as the handwriting on their necks. But they’re not sure who wrote it.

Xavier’s balcony is revealed to be a secret camera that is pointed right at him.

The Episode Review

In the second episode of The Afterparty, Brett’s perspective switches from the events of the first episode. This episode does well to keep things consistently over the top and dramatic.

The story is well-told and the weaving of the story makes it easy to follow. The details are well-construed and the story is easy to understand.

These small pieces of the story help The Afterparty stand out and the writing in this show has been really, really good so far. It’ll be intriguing to see how the third episode will play out and just whose perspective we’ll be shifting across to. Until then, The Afterparty continues to deliver the goods.
