A Scintillating Conversation About a Lethal Pesticide
In a surreal dream sequence, Shelly is saved by a stallion. However, the stallion happens to be Lenny as we fade back to present. Lenny struggles to bring Shelly to orgasm and chalk this up to an extension of Shelly’s bedroom concerns.
Joyce is still reeling from the television gig and is staying over at her Maggie’s house in the Big Apple. She’s also been offered a big opportunity, working for a woman named Elayne in a perfect office for a completely different publication. ..
Doug and the others discuss how they’re going to publish Minx without Joyce’s presence. Bambi is unhappy, as her ideas for the centerfold don’t “feel like Minx.” ..
The advice instilled by the host to the contestants seems to be contradictory. On one hand, she tells them to show off their figures and wow Lenny; on the other hand, she warns them about how they might be perceived. However, it doesn’t take long for Shelly and Bambi to start kissing. ..
Billy Brunson is having a photo shoot, but he’s not feeling well. Doug tries to convince Billy to “let some air out the tyres,” but Billy won’t listen.
Joyce finds herself around the New York based people she always wanted to work with. However, she’s in a very different headspace now. She knows that these women who take part in Minx and the other magazines are just like her, and not the “street workers” they perceive them to be. Joyce has a big decision to make and it seems she’s swinging back in favour of Minx. ..
As the episode ends, Doug finishes the photoshoot with a very erect Billy and waits for the photos to be developed. Tina is there with him too. Doug knows that the magazine isn’t the same without Joyce and he forces a smile.

It’s been a little over a year since Joyce left Minx and the team, and things have definitely changed. Without her guidance, the show has taken on a new lease of life, with both Joyce and Doug working tirelessly to make sure everything is just right. But as the final episode approaches, it’s clear that this symbiotic relationship is about to come to an end.
HBO released two episodes a week, so we don’t have to wait too long to find out what happens next.
