Episode Guide

Jorginho Peixoto’s three wives sometimes found it difficult to get the butler to do their chores. Jorginho’s iron will was enough to take care of any problems that arose. No one was expecting the reconstruction of his home to cause so much chaos. The funeral party was a surprise, but it was a fun one. The secret friend was someone who helped out during the reconstruction and the next victim is someone who will be in for a tough time when Jorginho’s death is finally revealed. ..

Netflix has a lot of different originals coming out of Brazil, some of which are really interesting. For example, there’s a sci-fi dystopian called 3% and a thriller called Good Morning, Veronica. There’s also a lot of variety in the quality of these productions, so it’s definitely worth checking them out.

Afterparty, a new Spanish-language mystery series, blends the light and vibrant murder mystery tone of Agatha Christie with the quirky humor of Apple TV’s Afterparty. The result is a show that manages to nail a light and vibrant murder mystery tone while simultaneously adding enough twists and turns to keep you watching until the very end. ..

The story opens with a straightforward murder that quickly moves into the thick of things. We are given a limited amount of time to follow the characters as they try to piece together what happened and why. This makes for an exciting read, as we are kept in the loop as events unfold.

The three women receive letters inviting them to dinner with Jorginho, where he has a big revelation for them all. He’s convinced someone is trying to kill him, and unfortunately, that paranoia becomes a reality several days later. So who’s responsible?

As Detective Nunes enters the fold, stumbling and bumbling his way through the investigation, the attention turns to the large ensemble for the rest of the show’s duration. It’s here, the pace slows down a little as we get to know all of the different players.

Among those in attendance are Thyellen and her brother Raul, who have more than a few secrets together. Patricia is certainly no saintly trophy wife either, given she’s been having an affair, while Aquila and her family end up embroiled right in the thick of the action.

In the first few episodes of the show, Bete’s daughter Yara and her father, Nunes, team up to try and solve the murder. Jorginho’s butler, Washington Rodrigues, also joins in on the investigation. However, things quickly go awry. Jorginho is unaware of what is happening and end up being a part of the murder plot. Oh, and best not forget Washington Rodrigues - he unwittingly gets involved in the whole thing!

Jorginho is a big topic on the show, and it does a good job of exploring all the different angles. However, at the end of the season it becomes clear that the show is dragging its feet a little bit. The allure of understanding how all these puzzle pieces fit together becomes part of the reason to watch, but it’s also clear that there’s more to this story than meets the eye.

The episodes in particular feel like they could have been shorter, and I’m not sure if it’s because the story is moving too slowly or because there are too many characters to keep track of. I feel like the back-end of this season could use a little more zip.

The murder mystery is set in a small town in the UK and it follows the case of a young woman who is found dead after a night out. The humour will be based on the characters and their interactions with each other, as well as with the police and the media.

The show has a bright and vibrant aesthetic that works well with the mischievous musical score. The show never takes itself too seriously, making it a great choice for a night out.

The story could use more development on the character of Raul, who is very one-note throughout. This could be a problem because it makes him difficult to follow and makes the story less interesting.

Patricia has a lot of depth, but her story is not particularly interesting. The other characters have good arcs and some delicious secrets, but the ending leaves open the possibility that there may be more to come.

If you’re looking for a fun and easy murder mystery, Unsuspicious is a great option. With episodes lasting only 30 minutes each, this series is easy to watch in one sitting. If you’re looking for a compelling mystery with twists and turns aplenty, Unsuspicious is definitely worth checking out. ..
