The show has some great episodes with brilliant gags that fire on all cylinders. There’s no physical humor or slapstick gags here though, unless you count the early drama involving a smashed casserole. Instead, the comedy mostly revolves around silly wordplay, puns, quips, straight up parodies or absurdist humor. And it works! ..

The first episode of this series was strong, but the rest of the series seems to be toning down the humour and increasing the mystery.

The story is great but it could have been tighter with a 6 episode run time to keep the comedy flowing through every episode.

Despite its flaws, The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window is a great series that knows how to parody its genre. This is evident from the opening gag to the shocking twist at the end.

Psychological thrillers are a genre that often rely on suspense and mystery, with a touch of humor. This show is full of both, with nods to classic films like “The Silence of the Lambs” and “Jaws.” The characters are all suspicious and the plot is full of twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the end. ..
