The Murder

Anna heads up to the attic and looks over all her old art supplies. Her end-goal here is a light green pen, which she intends to bring over to Emma. However, that ‘s only so she has an excuse to chat with Neil again and pick up where they left off the night before.

Neil’s girlfriend, Lisa, walks past Anna as Neil embraces her and the pair have a “happy family” hug with Emma. Anna slips back home again. ..

Naturally, she’s out of wine so she heads to the supermarket to pick up more. Hiding around the corner, she hears Carol there gossiping about her. She mentions Anna’s drinking problem and goes on to reveal Neil’s current relationship and how Anna is “throwing herself at him.”

Anna’s stress levels are high on top of her current levels of anxiety and worry. She starts to talk to her therapist about how she’s feeling, in addition to imagining running over Lisa who throws away Anna’s markers because they “smell funny.”

Elizabeth’s job at the time was to keep an eye on her partner, Douglas, who was working as an FBI forensic examiner. His job was to work with mass murderers, including Massacre Mike. Elizabeth was left in the room alone with him, which led to a lot of issues.

Anna is curious to find out more about Lisa, so she looks through her social media account and finds that someone called “Sexy Rexy” has liked all of her photos with fire and eggplant emojis. ..

Anna signs up on Instagram to use the name “verysexyanna” in order to get Rexy onboard and liking her friend request. This works an absolute charm, as Rexy is more likely to follow Anna’s account if she thinks she looks sexy.

Anna begins to search through his photos and finds one that features Rexy sitting with Lisa. Lisa happens to be kissing Anna’s neck, which leads Anna to believe that the two are in a romantic relationship.

That night, Anna looks out the window and sees Lisa clutching her neck in pain. Blood-soaked, she collapses on the floor. Anna immediately rings the police but thanks to her rain phobia, she’s not able to reach the house before she passes out on the floor outside.
