Yeom Ki-Jung is a very hot tempered woman who spends a lot of her time travelling back and forth from Seoul to Sanpo village because of her job. She has a lot of issues in her life and is desperate to find love.

Mi-Jung is the youngest of five siblings and has always been an introverted person. She feels lonely and unfilled in her life, and decides to take a break from her family to go on a journey. Mi-Jung travels around the world, meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. She eventually finds herself in Japan, where she meets a man named Kyohei. Kyohei is a very interesting person, and Mi-Jung starts to feel more connected to him than she ever had before.

Yeom Chang-Hee, the middle child, wants to leave his childhood home in Sanpo. He is the black sheep of the family and doesn’t really have a dream. Chang-Hee is determined to find his own path in life and break away from his family’s tradition of being content with their station in life. ..

Mr Goo tells Yeom Mi-Jung that he has been living in a world of shadows for years, and that he knows something about the disappearances of people in the city. He says that there is someone who can help Yeom Mi-Jung find out what is happening, and that only he can tell her the truth.
