Afterparty Episode 5 Recap & Review The fifth and final episode of the Afterparty series aired on Sunday night, and it was a wild ride. The show has been building up to this moment for months, and the finale delivered on all of the hype. Here’s a recap of everything that happened in Episode 5. The episode began with Max (Kaitlyn Dever) revealing that she is pregnant, which caused a lot of tension between her and her ex-boyfriend, Noah (Austin Nichols). Noah didn’t take the news well, and he ended up storming out of the party. Max then decided to go home, but she was followed by Noah’s friends. They started to attack her, but Max was able to fight them off and get away. Meanwhile, Brooke (Alycia Debnam-Carey) was having a lot of fun at the party. She danced with several different guys and had a great time. However, she started to feel sick after drinking too much alcohol. Brooke went to use the bathroom, but she was followed by someone who seemed familiar. It turned out that it was her ex-boyfriend from high school, Cody (Nolan Gould). Cody tried to attack her in the bathroom, but Brooke was able to fight him off and get away safely. The next scene took place at Max’s house. She had called 911 after being attacked by Noah’s friends, and police officers arrived soon after. They arrested all of the attackers except for one guy who ran away before they arrived. The police then asked Max if she wanted them to file charges against Noah for attacking her; she declined because she doesn’t want their relationship to become public knowledge again. The final scene of Episode 5 showed Brooke arriving at Max’s house after being attacked by Cody earlier that night. Brooke told Max that Cody had raped her while they were dating back in high school; however, Max didn’t believe her until ..
