Renewed Or Cancelled?
Netflix has announced that they will be releasing a new mockumentary series called “Hard Cell” created and written by Catherine Tate. The show is set to air on Netflix in 2019 and follows the life of a group of people who are forced to work in a hard cell.
After a season of ups and downs, the show has finally been renewed for a 6th season. But is it worth the wait?
What is Hard Cell about?
The inmates of Woldsley prison are excited for their new musical, Hard Cell. Governor Laura Willis is overseeing the production, and the inmates are looking forward to performing for the public. ..
Angela Brooks is a new inmate at the prison. She’s found a target painted on her back, and she’s determined to find out who did it.
There are two main characters in this prison drama: the male prison officer Marco and the Irish inmate, Ros. The other characters are by far the better ones, with Marco being the more likable and Gary being the more interesting.
The cast of “The Office” is largely unremarkable, with the exception of two main characters.

Has Hard Cell been renewed for season 2?
The show Hard Cell was cancelled after one season due to a shocking ending. However, given the nature of the shocking ending, it is possible that the show could be renewed for a second season.
Netflix has a number of factors that it takes into account when renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then how often they stop watching it. With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly (ala. Squid Game, Bridgerton & Irregulars), while other times it can take months before Netflix makes a decision over a show’s future.
Critics have found the film to be dark and violent, while audiences have been more mixed, some finding it to be an interesting watch. ..
Given the nature of that ending, and the comments Tate has recently made on Radio Times about the show, we are predicting that Hard Cell will not be renewed for a second season.
