There is a big difference between leaving just yet and something that lasts forever. September sunburns are something that last for a while, but backseat daydreaming is something that never ends. Time spent driving is also something that never ends, even if you’re driving to your death.

The album is about the author’s struggles with mental health and how they’ve been forced to confront their past. It’s a dark and dangerous journey, but it’s also one that has led the author to some of the most beautiful moments of their life.
