The Episode Review

The Forecasting love and Weather series opener was dramatic, with the two main characters Ki-Jun and Ha-Kyung in a heated argument. However, the tone of the show shifted slightly in the second episode, becoming more comedic and romantic. This worked well in context, balancing out the more dramatic moments involving Ki-Jun and Ha-Kyung. Seeing Ha-Kyung stand up for herself – in front of everyone at work no less – was incredibly satisfying and a great moment to show how strong she actually is. ..

Si-Woo’s situation is going to continue to escalate and there is a feeling that it will take on a more romantic tone with Park Min-Young’s work in shows like What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim. ..

The following week is set up nicely for a follow-up story between our two leads. We can really lean into the blossoming romance and develop it further this week. Roll on next week!
