The Next 365 Days Plot Synopsis
An uneasy truce is agreed between the two sides after the shooting. Massimo is angry after the death of his brother and tells his rivals to leave. Adriano is dead while Laura is alive.
Laura has fully recovered from her gunshot wound last movie, and beyond a few mentions it’s never brought up again. Laura and Massimo’s relationship is on the rocks, so the former decides to get back into the swing of her career. As she starts to dive into the world of fashion again, Nacho returns and causes Laura to feel conflicted.
In the wake of her latest abusive relationship, Laura has to make a tough decision. Does she stay with the man who is making her feel like she’s nothing, or does she move on and find someone new? Her choices will have a big impact on her future and the lives of those around her.
Does Nacho confess his love to Laura?
Nacho eventually catches up with Laura after she tries avoiding him and encourages her to take a drive. Eventually, the pair start kissing. When they break away, Nacho tells her: “I think I’m in love with you.” Nacho finally catches up to Laura after she’s been trying to avoid him and tells her that he thinks he’s in love with her. They kiss and when they break away, Nacho says “I think I’m in love with you.” ..
After driving Laura home, Nacho tells her: “You can run away from me… but you can’t run away from how you feel.” Nacho respects Laura enough to give her time to contemplate whether to divorce Massimo or not. Just to add weight to the argument though, Nacho reveals that when Anna shot her instead of Massimo, she tried to shoot her husband but Nacho intervened. ..
Nacho refused to allow Massimo to be killed and shot Anna dead in order to save her. Laura loves Massimo and didn’t want her to suffer, so Nacho saved his life. He wants Laura to want to be with him because that’s what she wants, not because she’s forced into it. ..
Does Massimo find out what Laura’s been up to?
Laura is flustered when she receives a call from Olga. She learned that Massimo knows everything between her and Nacho, and in particular snippets of their conversation. He’s threatened to kill them if they don’t keep quiet.
Laura returns to her home in Mexico after a long absence to find her husband there. Nacho, who had been following her, arrives and tells her that he has been pretending to be her driver all along in order to avoid getting into trouble. ..
Nacho admits that since meeting Laura he’s been unable to stop thinking of her. He lavishes praise on her, admitting he’ll do anything for her and will wait - even forever - if that’s what it takes. ..
How does The Next 365 Days end?
Laura tells Massimo that she’s grateful for the time they have together, and that she knows it won’t be long before their baby is back with them. ..
Massimo admits that he knows about Nacho but didn’t say anything. He has been driven by a quote from his father which he now understands.
It goes: “If you really love something, just let it go. If it comes back, it’ll be yours forever. If it doesn’t, then it was never meant to be.” When Massimo asks if Laura is back with him… we don’t get an answer. Instead, they both just look at each other as we fade to black.
Will Laura choose Nacho or Massimo?
The question is, can Nacho be trusted?
In an ideal world, Laura would choose neither Massimo nor Nacho.
This choice could spark up a big gang war before seeing Nacho as a blood-lusting villain and jumping back to Massimo again. Unfortunately, we won’t get any answers in this movie so I guess we’ll have to wait and see what’s in store for us next in this ongoing franchise!
