1883 is a western drama set in the late 1800s. It has been praised for its accurate portrayal of that time period, and for its tension, romance, and drama. While there are some issues with the show, it is overall very well done. ..

The caravan is made up of people from all over the United States, and they’re all looking for a new place to call home. Many of them have been displaced by natural disasters or economic hardship, and they’re hoping that Oregon will be a better place than where they are now. ..

The caravan is led by Shea and Thomas, two hardened cowboys who know the way the world works and enact a strict “our way or the highway” approach. Together, they lead a rabble of immigrants across the land – but they aren’t alone.

The Dutton family set out on a journey to find themselves in the middle of a natural disaster. They are joined by James Dutton, who has a wife and two daughters. The family eventually becomes more and more invested in their caravan, and they navigate natural disasters, bandits, and hostile wildlife.

1883 is a show that takes its time building up tension before exploding into a flurry of gunfire or action. There’s one episode here that sees the caravan try to navigate a river, and the whole episode builds up to this moment so well. ..

The story of “The Book Thief” is about the characters and their motivations. Every main character has depth, with a reasoning to their actions. Shea’s motivation stems from honoring the memory of his deceased wife. Meanwhile, the immigrants are looking for a free land to call their own. Elsa is on a journey of discovery, while James and Margaret just want to keep their kids safe. ..

The season finale of “Game of Thrones” showed that many of the characters on the show have come to a natural end. What is interesting though is that these journeymen embody a different theme which this show tackles over time.

Elsa is a young girl who is innocence and young love. She is eager to please her loved ones and does whatever they want. She is also very grateful for the time she has with them. Shea, on the other hand, is a man who has had a lot of regret in his life. He tries to hide it from those around him, but it shows through in his actions and words. He is also very careful with what he says and does because he knows that he could potentially lose someone he loves if he makes too much of a mistake.

While some may disagree and find the show too lethargic, 1883’s slow pace works beautifully to drink in the scenery and allow for a very quiet, thought provoking slice of western drama. For those who can go in with an open mind and some patience, 1883 is a special show that easily one of this year’s best small screen offerings.
